You just clicked on my name to learn more about me. There is not much to learn. I was born in 1962 in The Hague (NL), and started studying archaeology in Utrecht, also Netherlands. After finishing my study there under supervision of Prof. Isings, I did my PhD in Freiburg i.Br. (D), stimulated by Prof. Nuber. In between, work was done in Budapest (H) on La Graufesenque Samian and in Zürich (CH) on the Oberwinterthur Keramiklager. Now I am working at the Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum Mainz (D).
Since my monitor sees me more than my wife, some apologies to her would be suitable.....
